Caldera Spas Advent Control Box 2009 To Current 74899
1. Disconnect power to the spa and access the equipment compartment.
2. Access the equipment compartment. On the front of the control box, remove the screws and open the control box cover.
3. On the top right side of the control box, disconnect the two thermistors from the thermistor inputs and the pressure switch from its input.
4. Identify and mark all wires for the components from the flag terminals and disconnect them. Remove the strain reliefs, save the strain reliefs (if undamaged) to be used on the new control box, and their cords
5. On the left side of the control box, disconnect the copper bonding wire(s) from the bonding lug.
6. Inside the control box on the right side, disconnect the ribbon cable for the main panel and the cord for the auxiliary panel, if applicable
7. Disconnect the power supplied to the terminal block.
8. Disconnect the light, circulation pump, jet pump(s), and ozonator terminal connections from the circuit board.
9. Using strain relief pliers, remove the strain relief and cord from the control box for the circulation pump, jet pump(s) and ozonator.
10. Disconnect the heater terminal connections from the heater relay terminals.
11. Using strain relief pliers, remove the heater strain relief and cord from the control box.
12. Inside the control box, remove the mounting screws and slide the control box to the right.
13. Remove the control box from the equipment compartment.
- To reinstall the Advent control box, reverse steps 1 to 13
